Description

Since opening in 2015, Rockwind Community Links has been recognized nationally as one of the best public courses in New Mexico. The 27-hole municipal facility, owned and operated by the City of Hobbs and designed by architect Andy Staples, offers an 18-hole championship course with five sets of tees ranging from over 7,100 yards to 4,200, a 9-hole par 3 course, a dual-ended practice range and multiple short-game areas. Designed to test the best golfers, while also fostering beginners, families and disabled individuals, Rockwind includes an open green space for events, a surrounding trail system with picnic areas. The course is set into the classic southeastern New Mexico landscape that combines turn of the 20th century design details, strategic placement of hazards and water efficient, cool season blue grass fairways and roughs.

AMENITIES:
8,000-square-foot clubhouse with outdoor patios, Rockwind Grill open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, fully-stocked golf shop, custom club fittings, private and group lessons.
